I am the Door

Summary:

Depending on what translation you use, you may read that Jesus is the door or the gate. In Psalm 100 we see another gate. How do we enter that gate? Ezekiel 34:1-10 is a prophecy regarding the shepherds of Israel. These verses show us that God takes the job of shepherding His people very seriously. If you have the time don’t stop at verse 10. Keep reading the whole chapter. What can we learn about the gate in Matthew 7:13-14? John 10:1-21 contains our feature passage for this week and next week. And Acts 4:12 reinforces that there is just one door to the sheep-fold.

As you read try to take notes with the S.O.A.P. method.

S - Scripture: What was your favorite verse?

O - Observation: What stands out to you?

A - Application: How can you apply this verse?

P - Prayer: Write out a prayer to God.
