NEXT STUDY: HEAVEN-When Faith Becomes Sight.

When: Tuesdays starting Sept. 16th-November 4th

    10am-11:30am OR 7pm-8:30pm

Where: In the Northgate Fellowship Hall

This study is based off of a book by Jennifer Rothschild

Heaven. Who goes there? Where is it? What will we do there? Questions like these arise when we consider an eternal future beyond this physical life. How can we know the truth about what comes next? In this video-based study, Jennifer Rothschild explores the subject of Heaven from a biblical perspective. As you walk through the study, you'll not only gain a deeper understanding of what God has prepared for His children, but also learn how to live with confidence today as you look forward to the glorious unending that awaits. Join us as we embrace heaven with a faith that turns anticipation into excitement and peace.

  • WHAT: Heart-to-Heart Mentoring

WHEN: Meets regularly according to individuals schedules

WHO: 18+ women who are interested in growing spiritually as they walk through life with another woman.

Life can pull us in many directions. Based on the Titus 2:3-5 model, mentors are women who can come alongside and help us navigate the ups and downs of our lives, encouraging us to grow spiritually. These heart-to-heart relationships are designed to encourage an authentic and transparent connection that helps us grow closer to Christ. Contact Jennifer if you would like to be mentored or to be a mentor.

  • WHEN: Third Wednesday of the month at 10 - Noon

    Does not meet during December

    WHERE: Northgate Church, Quilting Room

WHO: Women who love to sew and bless others

If you love quilting and love to touch lives for Christ this is the group for you. The quilters come together for fellowship, to teach quilting classes and to make quilts for those in need.

This group started in 2010 as a way to gather women from Northgate and the community who are interested in quilting as a ministry. The quilts serve as a reminder to those who receive them that they are loved and cared for by God. Quilts have been given to many people here in Pittsburgh, to a hospital and orphanage in Haiti, to a church in Houston, TX after a hurricane and to the community of Clay, WV. To find out the next meeting, contact Joanne or Peggy.

  • WHAT: Women’s Book Club

WHEN: Every Other Month on Mondays as Scheduled Throughout the Year.

WHERE: Online Zoom Book Talk Option (from your home) and In-Person Book Talk Option, Fellowship Hall, Northgate Church

    WHO: Women, 18-years old+

The Women’s Book Club (WBC) facilitates the reading and discussion of edifying books among women. Every other month, a memorable, quality book that will enrich the lives of women and encourage them in their Christian walk is chosen and promoted for independent reading. Afterwards, women are invited to enjoy fellowship around the book through participation in either a facilitated online Zoom book talk or a facilitated in-person book talk.

Our titles include classics and lifelong favorites of believers that are not to be missed! All of our titles will contain timeless lessons from which all can benefit. We want to introduce women to their next treasured book!

Visit the events page to see upcoming titles.

  • January 18th-March 15th

    WINTER ABC 1.18-3.15 (9 WEEKS)

    • THE BOOK OF ACTS

    • HOW TO LIVE IN EXILE

How to Live in Exile: This class explores what it means to remain faithful when the world around us feels foreign or even hostile to our values. Drawing from the experiences of God’s people in exile, we’ll learn practical lessons about courage, integrity, and hope. Together, we’ll discuss how to live as “strangers and exiles” in today’s culture while holding fast to God’s promises.

The Book of Acts: Journey through the story of the early church as recorded in Acts. This class highlights the boldness of the apostles, the power of the Holy Spirit, and the spread of the gospel from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth. We’ll see how ordinary believers became extraordinary witnesses, and consider how the same Spirit equips us to live out our faith today.
