A three-week look into who we are as members of Northgate Church
Why is church important? Why is church membership important? Can’t I have a relationship with God without going to church? In this course we will answer those questions and establish the high priority that God gives to church. We will also go over who Northgate Church is: our mission, our doctrine, and our structure. (This is the same course that all prospective members must go through to become a member of Northgate. So if you are interested in becoming a member, this would be a great class to attend.)

A seven-week exploration of what it means to be a worshipping community
What does it mean to worship God? What should we be doing when we meet together for “church” on Sundays? And how does that connect with what we do the rest of the week? As we search the Scriptures together, we will discover that true worship is more than a service on a Sunday—it is to encompass the whole of life. This engaging and flexible program will challenge us to worship God every day of the week, with all our heart, mind, soul and strength.

A six-week study on the main and plain things of historic Christianity
The importance of essential Christian doctrine can hardly be overstated. These are the very doctrines that separate the kingdom of Christ from the kingdom of the cults. These essential doctrines are an unchanging reference point by which the church has been guided for centuries. Furthermore these doctrines are the foundation on which the gospel of Jesus Christ rests.

Five weeks of equipping ourselves to share our faith easily and effectively.
Why are most people so reluctant to share their faith? Do we lack confidence or fear rejection? Perhaps we feel unqualified. But it doesn’t have to be that way. We will spend time reviewing what other faiths teach. We will share tools, and give examples of how we can build relationships and naturally share our faith. There are organic ways that ordinary people, like us, can share our faith.

A four-week tutorial in how to let the words of scripture shape your prayers.
When you pray, does it ever feel like you are just saying the same old things about the same old things? It dense have to be that way. This course offers us the encouragement and practical advice that we are looking for. We will outline an easy-to-grasp method that has the power to transform our prayer life—the method is simply praying the words of Scripture. Simple, yet profound.

A five-week discovery into how to move from duty to delight in your Christian walk.
Is your Christian walk more of a dry duty or a wonderful delight? Do you often feel more spiritually drained than spiritually vibrant? If this describes you, then together, we will learn about the Biblical secret to having joy, life, and vibrancy in our Christian walk. Come and see what it means to be a Biblical Christian Hedonist. Our hope is that each of us can say with the Psalmist: “My heart and flesh sing for joy to the living God.” (Ps 84:2)

Five weeks of learning how to alleviate poverty without hurting the poor . . . and yourself.
We all know that we should help those in poverty. But what is poverty and how do we best help? This study presents a biblically based approach to poverty alleviation. The path forward is found, not through providing resources to the poor, but by walking with them in humble relationships. Join us as we seek to explore together how we can help the poor without hurting them.

A four-week study on the life of Mary, the mother of Jesus.
God partners with human beings to accomplish His purposes. He chooses, He calls, and He leads. So what do you do when He has chosen you? Mary, the mother of Jesus, is a great example of how to respond when God calls your name. God chose Mary for a reason. He has chosen you too, and you will need to know how to navigate the path He has given you. Chosen will help you grow in your understanding of what it means to be guided every step of the way.
The children go through the same Bible story during both hours; however, the activities, teachers, songs, videos, crafts, etc. are different each hour. The children that stay for both hours have had the same lesson re-inforced through a wide variety of activities.
Pre-school through 6th grade all participate in the same curriculum: The Gospel Project. They journey through the entire Bible with this Christ-centered study. The Bible stories come alive with a variety of videos, fun worship songs, hands-on activities and games.

Sunday school is offered for 7th -12th graders from 9:30-10:30am. They meet downstairs in our Youth Room.
