What is Awana?

Awana is a club where children come to learn about the gospel of Jesus Christ and the Bible in a fun environment.

What do children to at Awana?

Sing Songs. Play games. Listen to Bible stories. Make crafts. Learn and recite Bible verses. Receive awards.

Who can come to Awana?

Awana is open to children pre-school age (at least 3 years old by the 1st day of club) through 6th grade.


On what days does Awana happen?

Wednesday nights

The first night: SEPTEMBER 20, 2017

The last night: MAY 9, 2018

We take the night off around holidays.


How much does Awana at Northgate cost?

It is free. However, we have a box for donations at the Registration Desk, so that anyone who would like to donate toward the program is able to do so (if writing a check, make payable to Northgate Church, with "Awana" on the memo line).

How are the children grouped at Awana?

Preschool - Cubbies

K through 2nd grade - Sparks

3rd through 6th grade - Truth in Training (separate classes for boys and girls)


Where/What time does Awana happen?

6:15 Children arrive and register (Registration Desk as you enter through the main doors)

6:30 Awana begins (fellowship hall, downstairs)

8:00 Awana ends. Children are dismissed to their parents (fellowship hall, downstairs)
