People of all ages.

Joining a small group is a great way to connect with others at Northgate Church. A small group is a simple concept; it is a handful of people focused on building relationships, and discussing the Christian faith.  Each group is unique and plans projects and outings based on the interests represented. If you are interested in joining or starting a group contact the church office by clicking the envelope to the right.

Men’s Ministry

Men’s Ministry is for guys of all ages.

Men's ministry at Northgate Church is focused on discipleship. Our vision is to see every man in Northgate Church discipled, in order to accomplish this groups of 3 or 4 meet weekly throughout the year for Bible study, accountability, and encouragement in following Christ. We invite you to join in this exciting process.

Women’s Ministry

Women’s Ministry is for gals of all ages.

We are focused on helping women connect with God and with each other. We meet weekly on Tuesdays at 7pm and Sundays at 9:30am to participate in one of Beth Moore's Bible studies, and we meet regularly throughout the year in mentorship groups. We also gather from time to time for conferences, retreats, and special events.

Hilltoppers

Hilltoppers is for anyone over the age of 50.

We are a caring group known for our Christian fellowship, social interaction, informative speakers, fun entertainment along with a satisfying lunch each month. Local schools and groups often come and offer an entertaining afternoon. On occasion, our group is asked to fill local needs in the community (food, etc.)... Try us! You’ll like us!

Young Adults

Young Adults is for anyone over the age of 18.

We are the post-high school to "30 something" crowd, and we are committed to Serving God Together. Serving. We are always looking for opportunities to be a light in our communities through humble acts of service. Service projects are scheduled as needs arise. God. We want to know God better, so we gather on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30 to read and discuss His word. Together. We value community, so we get together on a regular basis.  Some of us meet regularly in homes as a part of our small group ministry (embed link), while all of us meet together at various times for parties, picnics, and special events.

Youth Group

Youth Group is for 7th - 12th graders.

We want to see students exposed to the Gospel, Growing in their faith, and Going with the Gospel.  We call it the 3 "G"s--gospel, grow, go. Gospel. It is our hope that on Thursdays from 6:30-8:30 students will be exposed to the gospel in a fun, welcoming environment where they can connect with peers as well as caring adult volunteers. Grow. It is our hope that on Sunday from 9:30-10:30 students will be growing in their faith through the study and application of God's Word. Go. It is our hope that through our regularly scheduled events, parties, service projects, and mission trips students will be going with the gospel outside the walls of our youth room. Children’s Ministry

Children’s ministry is from birth to the 6th grade.

We want all children to Learn the word of God. Through Sunday School, Children’s Church and JR Church on Sundays, children are taught the principles and promises of God’s Word. During Wednesday night AWANA, kids learn to Memorize God’s Word and receive awards as they complete each section. We pray that the boys and girls will take what they have learned on Sunday and Wednesday and Share God’s Love with others.

Sunday School is 9:30-10:30, Children’s Church is 11:00-12:00 ages birth -5 years old, JR Church is also from 11:00-12:00 for children 1st – 6th grade and AWANA is Wednesday 6:30-8:15

Quilters

We are a group of women that have combined our love for quilting and our love for others into a unique outreach ministry at Northgate Church. We meet at various times and locations throughout the year. All of our quilts are donated to people in need. If you are interested in joining, no experience necessary, just a willingness to learn and a heart for helping others.

Evenings in English

On Tuesdays from 7-8:15 we offer classes at the church in conversational English for adults from foreign countries. We want to build cross-cultural relationships as we develop English listening, reading, and writing skills. Contact us if you are interested in participating as a student or as a volunteer.

Special Events

We at Northgate Church want to extend God's love into our neighborhood, city, region, and even around the world.  So we regularly schedule special events, host concerts, and plan missions trips. Our Block Party every fall and Wild Game Dinner every spring are both great opportunities to connect with friends and neighbors. Our annual mission trips to West Virginia and the Dominican Republic are both great opportunities to extend your heart and your hands to help the needy.
